Privacy

Short version: the tools run in your browser, nothing you type is uploaded, and the only data collection is standard analytics.

What you type stays in the page

Character names, group size and anything else you enter in the generator are held in the page itself. They are not sent to a server, not written to a database and not included in any request this site makes. Closing the tab discards them.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and see which pages are used. GA4 sets cookies and records standard information: the page you visited, roughly where the request came from (country or region level), the referring page, and basic device and browser details. It does not receive the character names you type. If you do not want to be counted, a content blocker or the browser's tracking protection will stop the GA4 script from loading, and the site works exactly the same without it.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without building a profile of you. It reports aggregate numbers only.

Advertising

The site is free and is paid for by advertising. Third-party advertising may be added in the future, and when it is, those networks may set their own cookies to measure or personalise ads, under their own privacy policies rather than this one. If advertising is switched on, this page will say so before it happens rather than after.

Server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent) for security and abuse prevention. Those logs are Cloudflare's, kept under their retention rules.
